It’s a three-minute walk to the pier. And if it rains? Then you can pop over in your bathrobe to the Grömitzer Welle, with its sauna area and swimming pools.
Highlights at the aja Grömitz:
- Right on the beach along the promenade, just a few steps from the pier
- A walk in your bathrobe to the Grömitzer Welle, admission included
- Rooftop bar on the 5th floor with views over the Baltic Sea
- Panoramic restaurant with sea views
- aja SPA offering massages and beauty treatments, as well as a fitness area

aja Travemünde
This is where the large ferries to Scandinavia sail past so close that you can almost wave to them. The aja is situated right where the River Trave flows into the Baltic Sea. Only the promenade separates you from the wide sandy beach. Opposite, on Priwall, lies the four-masted barque Passat.
Highlights at the aja Travemünde:

aja Warnemünde
A fish sandwich by the Alter Strom, a stroll to the lighthouse, then off to the pool. The aja Warnemünde is right on the seafront promenade. Best of all: every room has a side view of the sea. So you can see the cruise ships as soon as you have your first coffee.

Aja Göhren on Rügen
The aja Nordperd & Villen is situated on the high cliffs, right next to the Nordperd Nature Reserve. Below, the Baltic Sea roars; above, birds chirp in the garden. A path leads directly from the hotel to the beach.

Last-minute deals are available in winter too
The Baltic Sea has no off-season, just different atmospheres. In autumn, the beach is deserted, and the wind clears your head. In winter, a sauna after a walk feels twice as good. A spontaneous weekend away is all it takes to really unwind.
