Things get really rustic at the Stroblhaus. Between the wood, hut charm and cosy atmosphere, the snack tastes twice as good. After a hike or a day in the mountains, this is the perfect place for a break. Enjoy a cool drink, hearty classics and the unique mountain feeling in the cosy guest garden in the sunshine.

Look forward to a new oasis of relaxation in the middle of the Alps! The new SPA area at the aja Bergresort Werfenweng will soon offer heated pools, large indoor and outdoor areas for children, modern saunas and lots of quiet places to switch off - at 900 metres above sea level.
Until then, we ask for your understanding for occasional background noise: construction work takes place from Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 6 pm) and on Saturdays (until 3 pm).

Arriving has never been so relaxed

The aja Bergresort Werfenweng is easily accessible by car, train or plane. It is only a few minutes away from the motorway and yet in the middle of the mountains - so your holiday starts without any detours.

By car

You can easily reach the aja Bergresort Werfenweng by car via the A10 Tauern motorway. Take the Pfarrwerfen / Werfen exit, follow the signs to Werfenweng - and you're there. In winter, we recommend carrying snow chains in case of snowfall.

Parking

You can use a parking space in the hotel's underground car park for €12 per night.

We also offer our guests three e-charging stations in the underground car park. Here you can conveniently charge your electric car for €10 per charging session.

By train

You can easily get to the aja Bergresort Werfenweng via Werfen, Pfarrwerfen or Bischofshofen railway stations. From there, the W³ shuttle will take you directly to the resort free of charge, coordinated with most train timetables. On the day of departure, you will also be taken back to the railway station free of charge.

Airports in the neighbourhood

The nearest airport is Salzburg (SZG), around 45 minutes from the aja Bergresort Werfenweng. From there you can easily get to the resort with the W³ shuttle, a hire car or a private transfer. Alternatively, you can also reach Werfenweng via Munich Airport (approx. 2.5 hours) or Innsbruck Airport (approx. 2 hours).
