How much is the Cape Arkona entrance fee?
The area at Cape Arkona is generally freely accessible. However, if you would like to enjoy the view from above, you will have to pay a small fee for the Kap Arkona lighthouse or the Kap Arkona sounding tower. A combined ticket is usually worthwhile if you want to visit both towers. You can pay the current Cape Arkona entrance fee directly at the towers.
When are the Cape Arkona opening hours for the towers?
The Cape Arkona opening hours vary depending on the season. In the high season (approx. May to September), the towers are usually open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. In the low season and winter months, they often close at around 16:00 or 17:00. Note for 2026: Please note that the large beacon is not expected to reopen until early summer due to renovation work - but the Schinkel and Peilturm towers will continue to offer you great views!
Is the path at Cape Arkona accessible with a pushchair?
Yes, absolutely! The terrain around the lighthouses is wonderfully flat and ideal for pushchairs. You can also reach the idyllic fishing village of Vitt via paved paths - but be prepared for a steep section and historic cobblestones in the village. If you want to enjoy the view from the towers, you should be able to walk well: There are only steps to the top of the historic lighthouses; there is no lift.
