In Werfenweng you can experience the whole variety of winter: skiing and snowboarding in the family-friendly Werfenweng ski area or would you prefer cross-country skiing on the sunny high plateau? Winter fun is also guaranteed with tobogganing, winter hiking, ice skating or horse-drawn sleigh rides!

Experience a large ski area

With 29 kilometres of pistes of varying degrees of difficulty and 9 lifts, the Werfenweng ski area offers a true winter paradise for all skiing enthusiasts! The excellently groomed pistes and wide runs are ideal for families and holiday guests. Enjoy sporty, fast-paced descents, glide comfortably down the mountain or let off steam in the snow park. An absolute highlight is the 6-kilometre-long panoramic descent, on which you can glide down around 800 metres into the valley.

Ikarus gondola lift

You can easily reach most of the Werfenweng ski area with the free ski bus directly from the centre. Look forward to fantastic descents from 1,830 to 1,000 metres above sea level. With 17 km of red pistes, 2 km of blue pistes and 3 km of black pistes, everyone is guaranteed to get their money's worth. Snowboarders and freeskiers can really let off steam in the fun park !

Rosnerköpfl village railway

The new village railway makes it possible to get directly from the mountain resort to the ski area - without a car, without a bus. Just like in summer, you can also enjoy a fantastic panorama in winter. As a guest of the aja Bergresort Werfenweng, the Rosnerköpfl village railway is free of charge for pedestrians and hikers in winter.

Children's lifts & areas

Eight exciting themed runs, a chill-out area and a toboggan run await younger guests in the ski area's Kids Snowpark. A covered conveyor belt ensures that there is never a shortage of fun. In the village centre , the children's ski school offers a large children's area with children's conveyor belts, a carousel and regular magic shows as well as other exciting activities.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides

Tobogganing

How about a speedy toboggan run down into the valley? Enjoy a fun toboggan ride - during the day or in the evening on the floodlit run.
- Köpfl-Flitzer toboggan run: 1.2 km long
- Opening times: Mon to Sun from 9 am to 4 pm, Mon & Fri from 6 pm to 9 pm (floodlit toboggan run) (subject to change)
- Children's toboggan run: approx. 10 minutes ' walk from the hotel

Paragliding

In winter, it is particularly worth marvelling at Werfenweng from above and feeling "bird-free". Between December and Easter, the professionals offer tandem flights. If you have acquired a taste for paragliding after your first flight, you can also learn how to do it yourself in Werfenweng. Take-off: the Bischling - an unforgettable experience with breathtaking views!
