Information for
dog owners

Your dog is very welcome at the aja Warnemünde! Please inform us when booking that you are bringing your dog with you so that we can prepare your stay accordingly. There is a surcharge of €25 per dog per night. One dog is allowed in each room. We provide a dog blanket and a dog bowl for your four-legged friend. Please understand that dogs do not have access to the restaurant, bar or the entire spa area.

Always along the coast

One of the most popular walks is the coastal forest trail, which takes you and your dog through dense pine forests and along the picturesque coastline. Enjoy the fresh sea air, listen to the sound of the waves and marvel at the impressive coastal landscape.

Promenade and old town

A walk along the seafront promenade is also an absolute must. The path takes you past the old lighthouse and the tea pot and offers spectacular views of the Baltic Sea. If you keep walking, you will reach the Alter Strom. Here you will find numerous boutiques, cafés and restaurants.

Dog beach in Warnemünde

In the high season, dogs are only permitted in Warnemünde between the beach entrances 8 to 10 from 9 pm to 9 am. The dog beach is about 20 metres to the east and west of these entrances. If you want to hire a beach chair, you are welcome to bring your dog with you, but it must be kept on a lead. In addition, it may only stay within a maximum radius of 2 metres from the beach chair.

Dog beach in Diedrichshagen

The stretch of beach near Diedrichshagen is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet time away from the tourist hustle and bustle. There are two beach access points that you can use with your dog:

Beach access points 27-31: Beach section with fine sand and stones Beach access points 36-38: The dog beach also serves as a nudist beach

Dog beach in Markgrafenheide

Markgrafenheide, similar to Diedrichshagen, is less busy than Warnemünde's main beach in the high season. Dogs have plenty of room to run around here and you can relax on the fine beach sand. The dog beach starts to the east from beach access 34, so you should allow some time to reach the beach. It is about 100 metres from the car park to the dune path, which you then have to follow for about a kilometre.

Good to know:

Markgrafenheide, similar to Diedrichshagen, is less busy than Warnemünde's main beach in the high season. Dogs have plenty of room to run around here and you can relax on the fine beach sand. The dog beach begins to the east at beach access 34.
