Is water your element? Then head to theWater World at the aja Bergresort Werfenweng. In the outdoor pool, which is heated all year round, you can swim laps whilst enjoying views of the Alps – or simply drift away in the 34 °C whirlpool. Inside, the relaxation pool offers gentle movement and pure relaxation. Whether you want to recharge your batteries or simply let go – here you’ll find a sense of lightness that gets right under your skin.

Please note: Until 6.00 pm, we’re happy to welcome guests of all ages to our aja SPA. From 18:00 onwards, our oasis of tranquillity is exclusively available to guests aged 14 and over.

Enjoy the cosy warmth in the panoramic, log cabin or bio sauna, and let yourself be thoroughly pampered in the steam room. Two areas, two different sets of rules: so you know what to expect.

As a guest at the aja Bergresort, you automatically have access to the hotel’s own wellness area, featuring a pool complex, saunas, relaxation areas and a gym – all included at no extra cost.

As a guest at the aja holiday apartments, you have free access to the new Werfenweng Bathhouse right next door – featuring an outdoor pool, children’s pool, relaxation area, sunbathing lawn and bistro. Use of the facilities is free of charge for you .

FAQs about our
wellness area

Is access to the wellness area included?

For hotel guests, yes – access to the wellness area is included. Guests staying in the aja holiday apartments can use the spa area subject to a charge and subject to availability. As a guest in the holiday apartments, you can purchase a discounted day spa ticket for €25 per person per day .

As a guest staying in the holiday apartments, am I allowed to use the hotel’s spa and wellness facilities?

As a guest staying in the holiday apartments, you can purchase a discounted Day SPA ticket for €25 per person per day .

Entry to the bathhouse is free for guests staying in the holiday apartments. Hotel guests receive a discount for the bathhouse.

From what age can the wellness area be used?

All guests, young and old, are warmly welcome at the aja SPA until 6.00 pm. From 6.00 pm onwards, our oasis of tranquillity is reserved exclusively for guests aged 14 and over. Use of the saunas is generally permitted from the age of 12. Children and young people aged between 12 and 16 may only enter the sauna area when accompanied by an adult.

Can day visitors also use the spa facilities?

Yes, day visitors are very welcome. Please let us know in advance so that we can reserve a place for you.

Are towels, bathrobes and slippers provided on site?

Every guest will find towels and bathrobes in their room. Bath slippers are only provided in our suites and junior suites. Bath slippers can be purchased for €6.50 at the spa reception or in the shop. As a day visitor, you can obtain towels and bathrobes at the SPA – simply ask at reception.

How can I book a massage or treatment?

It's quite simple online via the application overview or by email to spa.brw@aja.at.

How warm is the water in the outdoor pool?

The large outdoor pool is heated all year round – so you can swim laps in the open air whatever the season.

Is the gym included?

Yes, it is free for hotel guests to use.

Do I have to wear a bathrobe in the sauna?

Clothing is not permitted in the saunas. You are welcome to wear your bathrobe in the relaxation area.
