Holidays by the Baltic Sea with your dog:
Our 5 aja destinations

Grömitz on the Bay of Lübeck
Paws in the sand, nose in the breeze, and off to the seaside. In Grömitz, you’ll find dog-friendly beaches, coastal paths and plenty of space for walks together. It’s particularly relaxing from November to March: during this period, dogs are allowed on all sections of the beach. And at aja Grömitz, your four-legged friend is, of course, simply part of the holiday experience.

Travemünde, near Lübeck
In Travemünde, there’s plenty of the Baltic Sea for four-legged friends to explore too. Stroll along the promenade together, run along the Brodten cliffs, or let your dog romp about in the sand on the dog-friendly beaches at Priwall and Brodtener Ufer. And for those who love the water: at Brodtener Ufer, there’s even a dog-friendly jetty leading into the sea. Afterwards, head back to aja – a bowl and a dog blanket for your dog, as well as relaxation and enjoyment for you, are already waiting.

Warnemünde, near Rostock
The beach, the coastal woodland or a stroll along the Alter Strom? In Warnemünde, there’s plenty for you and your four-legged friend to discover. From October to April, you can look forward to particularly long walks along the beach, as dogs are welcome on all sections of the beach during this period. So it’s the perfect time for long walks whilst breathing in plenty of fresh Baltic Sea air.

Göhren on Rügen
In Göhren, you and your four-legged friend can head straight out on a Rügen adventure: through the coastal woods at Nordperd, along the Bernstein Promenade, or off to one of the three dog-friendly beaches. Sometimes in the shade at the edge of the woods, sometimes with plenty of space to dig, run about and splash about. Our tip for even more variety: your dog is also welcome on board the Rasender Roland. That way, you can explore the whole island together at a leisurely pace.

Bansin on Usedom
At aja Bansin, your next dog-walking adventure is right on your doorstep. Together, you can stroll along the 12-kilometre-long beach promenade, go exploring along the Bansin cliffs, or head to the dog beach with its fine sand and shallow water. And when those paws get tired? Just head back to the aja, where a dog blanket and bowl are already waiting.
