For children aged 5 and over
Our swimming course for children in Warnemünde offers a fantastic opportunity not only to learn how to swim, but also to develop self-confidence and safety in the water. Under the guidance of an experienced swimming instructor, your child will learn how to move safely in the water in a playful atmosphere.

Dear parents,
in order to ensure that your child's swimming course runs smoothly, we would like to give you some important information at the beginning. The fee of €250 must be paid at the start of the first lesson. Your child will be picked up by the swimming instructors in the entrance area of the SEEBAD. The group will go to the changing room together. Your child will need a shower gel, a towel, slippers and a swimming cap (not essential) labelled with your child's first name. Swimming instruction takes place gently in a small group and under expert guidance.
1. Aim of swimming lessons: getting used to the water
We start with getting used to the water: wet and cold, water pressure and resistance, diving and the buoyant forces of water
2. Aim of the swimming lessons: Technique training
This is followed by technique training, such as gliding in the water, leg stroke, arm stroke, overall movement with breathing. The aim is to develop swimming skills from water familiarisation.
3. Aim of the swimming lessons: Swimming badge
The aim of the course is to achieve the "Seahorse" swimming badge. For this badge, the swimming student must be able to swim 25 metres and retrieve a diving ring from shoulder-high water after jumping into the water from the edge of the pool.
A few more important notes
Your child does not need any swimming aids.
If your child has long hair, please tie it up with a hair tie.
If your child has any health problems, please let us know in advance.
Please ensure that your son/daughter attends swimming lessons regularly. If you have the opportunity, practise breaststroke techniques with your child. This is also possible in the dry.
If your child is unable to attend swimming lessons, please cancel your child's registration.

At the aja Hotel in Warnemünde there is ample parking available in the car park. The price for parking is €16 per day.
When do the pools and saunas close?
Our aja Badewelt is open daily from 08:00 in the morning until 21:00 in the evening.
From October to April, you can enjoy the cosy warmth of the sauna area from 11:00 in the morning until 21:00 in the evening. During the warmer months from May to September , the sauna area opens its doors from 14:00 until 21:00 in the evening.
Are there special opening hours on public holidays?
Even on public holidays, the SEEBAD generally has the same opening hours as on all other days of the year.
How much is the entrance fee?
Admission to our SEEBAD is free of chargefor all hotel guests. External guests can use the spa area for a daily fee. We have a variety of price options for our day guests so that you can customise your wellness experience at SEEBAD Warnemünde to suit your personal times and needs.
Where can day visitors buy tickets for the swimming pool?
External visitors to the seaside resort can purchase tickets directly online or on site at the SPA reception in the NIVEA Shop .
Are there discounts for children, schoolchildren or senior citizens?
- Children up to 2 years pay €2.50.
- Children between the ages of 3 and 13 can use the Badewelt for a reduced daily fee .
- Pupils, students, trainees and severely disabled persons receive a 10% discount*** on the admission price.
- On our senior citizens' days on Monday and Tuesday, senior citizens receive a 20% discount**** on the admission price.
- On our family days on Wednesday and Thursday, families receive a 20% discount**** on the admission price.
Are there season and annual tickets?
There are no season or annual passes for the seaside resort at aja Warnemünde. However, you can benefit from the aja SPA Card , which offers generous discounts and benefits depending on the value of the card.
Are there any other discount advantages?
If you regularly visit our seaside resort at aja Warnemünde, we recommend the aja SPA Card. Depending on the value of the card, you will receive generous discounts and save up to 20% on the credit value of the card.
What are the advantages of the aja SPA Card?
The aja SPA Card works like a prepaid card. You load any amount of credit onto the card and, depending on the amount of credit, receive generous discounts on the credit value.

Various swimming equipment such as water wings, water balls, swimming goggles etc. are available for purchase . Please speak to our SPA staff before entering the area.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
It is not permitted to bring your own food and drinks into the seaside resort. However, you can enjoy a selection of food and drinks in the pool bar, sauna bar or our hotel restaurant and bar.
Are there changing rooms and lockers?
The aja swimming pool in Warnemünde also has spacious changing rooms, showers and free lockers for day guests.
Are pets allowed at the seaside resort?
Pets are not allowed in the Warnemünde seaside resort.
What is included in the Day SPA Ticket?
With the Day SPA ticket, you can enjoy the entire wellness area at the aja Warnemünde - including use of the indoor and outdoor pool, saunas, relaxation areas and fitness room. Towels are provided on site and you can book additional treatments such as massages or beauty treatments on request. Your day at the Baltic Sea will be an all-round relaxing break.
Do I have to book the wellness area as a hotel guest?
No, as a hotel guest, use of the wellness area is already included in your stay. So you can enjoy the saunas, pools and relaxation areas at any time, without any additional booking or fees. Simply put on your bathrobe and relax.
Please note: massages and treatments can be booked as required and subject to availability.
Do I have to book the Day SPA or wellness area at the aja Warnemünde in advance?
No reservation is necessary for hotel guests - you can use the wellness area at any time during your stay within the opening hours. If you would like to come to the Day SPA as a day guest, we recommend booking in advance, especially at weekends or during the holiday season.
