The Fürstenhaus is situated right on the waterfront. The lakeside paths start right on the doorstep, and it’s about 500 metres to the centre of Pertisau. The Karwendel cable car also departs from the village. You can take it, along with your dog, up to the Zwölferkopf.

Almost all rooms have a balcony with a view of the lake or the mountains. Your dog is welcome to stay in selected rooms. Just let us know when you book that there’ll be two of you – including your four-legged friend. Then everything will be ready for you when you arrive.

No, dogs are only allowed to stay with us in certain rooms. Please let us know when booking that you’ll be travelling with a dog, and we’ll check whether a suitable room is available for you.

Can my dog stay in the room on its own?

Yes, he’s allowed to. Just hang the ‘Dog in the room’ sign on the door, then our cleaning staff will know and won’t knock unannounced. You know best how long your dog can stay alone without getting stressed. And let’s be honest: you prefer to explore lakeshores, alpine meadows and mountain peaks together anyway.

Are dogs allowed on the boat and on the cable car?

Yes. On the Achensee boat service, you’ll need a lead and a muzzle. On the Karwendel cable car and the Rofan cable car, your dog must be kept on a lead.
