Come in and make yourself at home straight away. During the day, the lounge is the perfect spot to satisfy both small and large appetites. On the menu, you’ll find hearty classics and sweet treats for a quick break.
As evening falls and the lights are reflected in Lake Achensee, the lounge transforms into a bar. And right at its heart: our freestanding fireplace, which creates a truly cosy atmosphere. Our bartenders will mix you a range of spritz variations, gin and tonics, cocktails and our own signature drinks. We also serve freshly tapped draught beer and a selection of wines. Settle into an armchair, listen to the crackling fire and raise a glass to your day’s holiday.
Outdoor area
In summer, we head outdoors. Our outdoor dining area is right on the shores of Lake Achensee , and you’ll have a front-row seat with unobstructed views of the lake and the Karwendel Mountains. It’s the perfect stop for hikers, cyclists, those strolling along the lakeside promenade, and anyone who simply wants to unwind with a cool drink.
Under the open sky, we serve you freshly caught fish from the region, hearty Austrian classics and light summer dishes. Grab your favourite drink and treat yourself to something special. With the sun on your face and a view of Lake Achensee.

Are external day visitors also welcome in the Furisto Lounge and the outdoor dining area?
Yes, absolutely! We’re delighted to welcome every visitor. Whether you’re staying at the aja Fürstenhaus, fancy stopping off after a cycle ride around Lake Achensee, or simply want to spend a lovely evening at the bar – do pop in!
Does the bar serve hot food as well?
Yes, at the Furisto Lounge we serve hot meals every day from 12:00 to 20:30. On our menu you’ll find a fine selection of dishes, ranging from hearty to sweet, to suit both small and large appetites.
Can I bring my dog into the lounge or the outdoor seating area?
Whilst dogs are unfortunately not permitted in the main restaurant, Laurentius, for hygiene reasons, there are areas in our Furisto lounge and in the outdoor seating area of the garden restaurant where your faithful four-legged friend is very welcome. Just ask our team on site when you arrive.
What are the bar’s drink highlights?
As well as classic cocktails and long drinks, we place great importance on offering an excellent selection. You can look forward to freshly tapped beer, a selection of speciality coffees and fine wines, which we bring out for you straight from our own wine cellar.
