Your four-legged friend is very welcome - in selected dog-friendly rooms with bowls and cosy dog baskets. Enjoy walks together on the beach, which is just a few steps away from the hotel. While your dog lets off steam, you can relax in the spacious wellness area afterwards. This makes a holiday feel really good for both of you.

Dogs are very welcome at the Strandhotel Bansin! When making your reservation, please let us know that you are travelling with your dog so that we can prepare your stay accordingly. There is a surcharge of €25 per dog per night. One dog is allowed per room. We are happy to provide a dog blanket and a dog bowl for your four-legged friend. Please note that dogs do not have access to the restaurant, bar and the entire spa area.

Bansin beach promenade

The longest beach promenade in Europe invites you to take long walks with your dog. Over a length of 12 kilometres, you can enjoy the fresh sea air and unwind. Numerous cafés and restaurants along the promenade invite you to take a break - many of which also welcome dogs. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead between 8:00 and 20:00 in the high season.

Despite the fact that dogs must be kept on a lead, there is plenty of room to play. The dog beach is easily accessible and there are no additional costs for dogs.

The dog beach in Ahlbeck on Usedom is idyllically located on the eastern edge of the Kaiserbad, close to the border with Swinemünde. A wide, fine sandy beach with high sandbanks awaits you here - ideal for relaxing hours with your four-legged friend. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead all year round. There is a beach bar, toilets and the option to hire beach chairs on site.

Is my dog welcome at aja Bansin and how much does it cost to stay overnight?

Of course! We look forward to welcoming you and your animal companion. The surcharge for your dog is €25.00 per night (without food). We will prepare everything for you and provide a dog blanket and a bowl directly in your room.

Can my dog accompany me everywhere in the hotel?

Your dog may accompany you in many areas of the hotel. However, we ask for your understanding that four-legged friends are not permitted in the restaurant, bar and the entire spa area. You can of course make yourselves comfortable together in the lobby and in your room.

Where can I find the dog beaches on Usedom?

There are three great options for you in the Kaiserbädern:

Bansin dog beach: A true paradise with fine sand and gently sloping water. It is characterised by its proximity to the cliffs and a particularly peaceful atmosphere.

Heringsdorf dog beach: This beach is very spacious and offers plenty of room to play and enjoy swimming together, despite the fact that dogs must be kept on a lead.

Ahlbeck dog beach: Idyllically located on the eastern edge of the Kaiserbad, you can expect a wide beach with high sandbanks as well as a beach bar, toilets and beach chairs. Please note that leads are compulsory all year round.

Where is the best place to go for a walk near the hotel?

You can set off on relaxing walks right from the doorstep. The path along the promenade or towards the Bansin cliffs is particularly beautiful and provides a great backdrop for your walks. The densely wooded hinterland is also ideal for extensive snooping tours in the countryside.

What should I bear in mind when planning?

It is best to let us know when you make your reservation that you are travelling with your dog so that we can prepare everything for you. Please pay attention to the signs on site regarding the obligation to keep your dog on a lead, especially on the beaches in Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck.
