Information for dog owners

Dogs are expressly welcome at aja Grömitz! Please let us know when you book that you are travelling with your four-legged friend so that we can prepare everything for you. We charge €25 per night for your dog. One dog is allowed per room.

We are happy to provide a dog blanket and a bowl so that your animal companion feels completely at ease. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, bar and Grömitzer Welle.

The quieter time of year from November to March is ideal for a holiday at the Baltic Sea with your dog. During this time, all beaches are freely accessible - perfect for long walks, playing in the sand and romping around in the water.

But there is also plenty to discover around Grömitz outside of the beach season: long walks, coastal paths and forests that are wonderful to sniff out. So every day is a little adventure for man and dog.

What is an absolute must on a holiday in Grömitz with a dog? A visit to the dog beach, of course! There are several designated sections of beach in Grömitz where furry friends can run around freely, dig in the sand and jump into the sea.

There is plenty of space to play, splash around and relax - for two-legged and four-legged friends alike. This makes a day at the beach on the Baltic Sea a real highlight for humans and dogs alike.

Good to know!

In the low season from November to March, dogs are allowed on all sections of the beach in Grömitz. During the season from 1 April to 31 October, the beaches, with the exception of the dog beaches of course, are off-limits to four-legged friends.
