about the aja Hotel in Grömitz

Check-in starts at 3 pm. Our regular check-out is until 11am. For a late check-out, please speak to our reception staff.

At aja Grömitz you can (depending on availability) either use the car park at the resort for €15 per night or the nearby car park for €12 per night. Parking spaces are allocated by the staff on site. It is not possible to make a reservation in advance. Of course, we make an exception for the reservation of our disabled parking spaces, please contact us in advance if required. There are currently no e-charging stations at the resort. Here you can find an overview of the e-charging stations in Grömitz.

The rooms are usually cleaned every two days to conserve resources. If you would like your room cleaned more frequently, please let us know at reception.

Your furry friend is also very welcome at the aja Grömitz. You are welcome to bring your dog with you for an extra charge of € 25.00 per dog/day/room and after prior notification when making your reservation. there are dog beaches on the north beach at Nam Trang (approx. 400 metres wide and with beach chairs) and on Lensterstrand at the lock (approx. 300 metres wide, natural beach with dunes).

Please note that our dog rooms can only be booked on the land side and are subject to availability.

The Grömitzer Welle is included for aja Grömitz hotel guests. You can easily access it via our bathrobe corridor. Please note that this access is only available to hotel guests. Day guests must use the official entrance to the Grömitzer Welle.

At the aja Grömitz you can pay conveniently with the usual EC, VISA, Mastercard and American Express cards.

Our aja Hotel in Grömitz offers a limited number of baby and children's beds as well as the option of using the sofa as additional sleeping accommodation. A children's buffet is available for breakfast and dinner. Baby monitors can be borrowed from reception for a deposit. Childcare is not offered at the hotel. However, there is a children's pool at the Grömitzer Welle, which provides fun and variety.

Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. The smoking ban also applies to e-cigarettes and also includes the balconies and terraces of the rooms. Smoking is permitted on the publicly accessible terraces.

The prices at aja Grömitz do not include the visitor's tax.

This costs € 2.00 per person in the low season (01.11.-31.03.) and € 3.00 per person in the high season (01.04.-31.10.).

The OstseeCard entitles you to discounted travel on public buses within the entire coastal area, free use of the beach, free or discounted admission to the many events and activities in the Ostseebad Grömitz, free participation in guided walks, hikes or cycle tours, free participation in the sports programme with Nordic Walking, Aqua Fit or beach gymnastics, free use of the Grömitz library and much more.

The aja Grömitz was opened in 2015. It has 5 floors, which you can easily reach via our lifts.

We have a bicycle room for bicycles, which guests can access around the clock with their room card. There are power sockets in the bike room that can be used free of charge. There is no bike hire in the hotel, but we recommend the external bike hire service Bike and More in the village.

Allergy-free dishes are available on request. If you are dependent on a special diet, it is best to contact us before your stay at rezeption.groemitz@aja.de.
