North Perd cliffs

This circular walk starts and ends in the centre of Göhren. It runs through the coastal forest to the cliffs of the Nordperd, from where you can admire the impressive view of the Baltic Sea. The easy route is suitable for all ages, but sturdy footwear is recommended due to uneven passages.

The Nordperd and the Bodden

This route starts in Göhren and runs through the coastal forest to the Nordperd, where you have a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea. The route continues along the shore of the Greifswalder Bodden, through fields and back to Göhren. A good level of fitness is recommended as the route has moderate climbs . It is best to wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing, perfect for nature lovers.

Göhren beach with viewpoint

This challenging circular tour starts in Sellin-Ost and leads along Göhren beach. You reach the viewpoint at Nordperd for spectacular coastal views. The way back is along the cliffs through the coastal forest. Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing are required. The well-marked route offers plenty of opportunities for breaks.

Cycling tours on the

You don't have to travel far to discover Rügen's most beautiful sides - fantastic cycle paths such as the Rügen circular route start directly from the hotel. Get on your bike and experience the island in your own way: along the coast, through tranquil forests and to impressive viewpoints such as the Viktoria view of the chalk cliffs in Jasmund National Park. To the southern tip

This 24-kilometre cycle tour invites you to explore right on the doorstep and takes you off the beaten track through Göhren's enchanting corners. Along the coast, you will reach the southernmost tip of Mönchgut, where the beach and the Klein Zicker viewpoint are impressive. Enjoy the view and find peace and quiet. On the way back, you can enjoy a fish sandwich at Thiessow harbour.

To Stralsund on the Rügen circular route

The tour on the Rügen circular route takes you along the south coast to Stralsund. Enjoy the ferry ride across the Baaber Bek and the tarmac cycle path through the fields. In Putbus, a holiday resort, you continue your journey through nature and admire Stralsund's UNESCO-protected buildings. Ideal for day trips. Return by train to Binz, from there 13 km to the Hotel Nordperd & Villen in Göhren.

Via Sassnitz to Jasmund National Park

The tour to Rügen's highlights takes you along the Rügen circular route to the chalk cliffs and through the Jasmund National Park. A challenging 600 metres in altitude await you over 80 km. You pass the seaside resort of Prora and reach Sassnitz, where you can take a break on the harbour promenade. The route continues through the beech forest to the Viktoriasicht viewpoint. Alternatively, you can return to Göhren through the national park.

Golfing

A 9-hole course and an 18-hole tournament course await you at Karnitz Golf Club. Dünengolf "Göhren" offers adventure golf with breathtaking sea views, slightly modelled terrain and obstacles on 10 to 16 metre-long courses. Here you play on natural grass courses, not mini golf courses. Adventure golf uses mini-golf clubs on artificial turf and the rules of the game are simple.

From April to October, the Baltic Sea beach in Göhren offers ideal conditions for a variety of water sports activities. Whether kitesurfing or surfing - there is something for everyone here. In addition to these popular sports, you can also try out windsurfing, stand-up paddling and kayaking. The clear waters and good wind conditions make Göhren the perfect place for water sports enthusiasts of all experience levels.

Raging Roland

The historic narrow-gauge railway "Rasender Roland" crawls across the island at a leisurely 30 km/h. It is not just a rolling museum, but an integral part of the local public transport network on Rügen. The "Rasender Roland" runs daily in the south-east of the island, from Putbus to Göhren. The trains not only stop at the larger railway stations such as Binz, Sellin Ost and Baabe, but also at many smaller stations as required, for example at Granitz Hunting Lodge.
