Information for your holiday with your dog at Lake Achensee

Dogs are not only allowed at the aja Fürstenhaus am Achensee, they are very welcome! When booking, please simply let us know that you are travelling with your dog so that we can prepare everything for you.

There is a surcharge of €25 per night for your four-legged friend. One dog is allowed in each room. We provide a dog blanket and a bowl so that your animal companion feels completely at ease.

We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, bar and spa area. In all other areas, however, nothing stands in the way of a holiday with your dog at Lake Achensee.

The east shore hike from Achenkirch to Eben is a real insider tip for anyone looking for tranquillity and pure nature when hiking with their dog on Lake Achensee. The wide, gently ascending path leads you along the tranquil shore through a dreamlike landscape - always with a view of the turquoise-coloured water.

Important: The ascent is partly stony and steep - so it is only suitable for sure-footed two- and four-legged friends. If you master it together, you will be rewarded with a summit moment you won't soon forget.
