Alpspitzblick & Tegernauweg
From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, head south-west towards Grainau and the Zugspitze. On the Tegernauweg, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Alpspitze. The trail leads along the Zugspitzstraße through Grainau, always with the Zugspitze massif in view. If you fancy more, simply extend the tour and continue to Eibsee, as this is a real classic among the cycle paths in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Through the Loisach Valley
This leisurely tour starts in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and takes you north into the idyllic Loisach Valley. On shady paths, you cycle along the Loisach and past blooming moors, ponds and pools to Ohlstadt. The route can be cycled as a circular or long-distance tour and is perfect for anyone who simply wants to take a deep breath while cycling in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The Upper Isar Valley
From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you cycle along the cycle path next to the railway tracks to Gerold. You reach Wallgau via Klais and Barmsee, continue to Krün and follow the Isar cycle path to Mittenwald. The return journey takes you past the famous humpback meadows - what a marvellous sight! A tour with many facets and an extra portion of mountain feeling.

Medium tour

Around the Partnach Gorge
The starting point is the ski stadium in Garmisch. After a short ascent to the Partnach Alm, the route continues leisurely into the Reintal valley with fantastic views of the Wetterstein mountains and the Schachen. At Graseck, a panoramic ride with views of the Zugspitze massif awaits you before you descend steeply to the entrance of the Partnachklamm gorge. A real classic among the mountain bike tours in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Up to Lake Geroldsee
This tour starts at Garmisch-Partenkirchen railway station and takes you through the valley between the Ester and Wetterstein mountains. The steepest section runs along the "Alte Gsteig", as it climbs up through the forest to the Gschwandtnerbauer farm. This is followed by a constant up and down to the picturesque Geroldsee lake. On the way back, you can refresh yourself in the Kainzenbad natural outdoor pool - perfect after a sporty round.

Panoramic tour around the Eibsee
From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the route leads via Hammersbach to Grainau. Behind the Zimmerskopf, the trail leads down to the Eibsee, where you can enjoy a magnificent view along the circular trail. If you fancy more, take the climb up to the Hochthörle hut, because the view up there is breathtaking! Alternatively, you can simply stay on the Eibsee circular trail and take a leisurely ride back via Hammersbach. Either way, this tour is a must for anyone who loves mountains and water in equal measure when cycling in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
